city2science GmbH is a German company for science communication and knowledge-based urban development, founded by CEO Dr. Annette Klinkert. Based on many years of management-experience in the fields of city-management and science communication, city2science supports local stakeholders, policy makers, universities and scientific institutions by providing strategic consulting and innovative communication strategies connecting scientific institutions, cities and civil society.

city2science initializes and organizes dialogues between representatives of universities, local decision-makers, cultural institutions, companies, policy makers, citizens and media. Within this process, stakeholders of cities and scientific institutions are motivated to develop a mutual understanding of their specific challenges and capacities in a local, national and international context.

Having conducted a large number of science-communication-events and policy-related strategies of strategic city management, city2science coordinates dialogue-oriented processes on a national and international level. Interactive, accessible and individually designed formats of science communication are designed to strengthen local identities, open dialogues and motivate citizens to become active stakeholders of a knowledge-based society.
